How to activate Data 7 embroidery apps

A step-by-step guide.

Applies to embroidery trials & purchases.

Activating for first time on a PC.

1. For EDS, Converter or Viewer tools:
   
   The activation screen looks like this:
   
   Simply enter your email address and password used to created your Data 7 account with and click the 'OK' button.
   If you purchased an app / license, it will activate as the full unlocked version else it will activate a trial which will last 30 days.
2. For ICE:
   The activation screen looks like this:
   
   If you've purchased an ICE app / license then click the 'Activate PURCHASED License' button.
   Else click the 'Activate FREE TRIAL License' button to activate a free trial which will last 30 days.

Activating during trial period.

If you've purchased and app / license during or after a trial period you can activate the full version from within the app as follows:

1. For EDS, Converter or Viewer tools:
   Click the yellow 'Activate' link at the bottom of the app.
   
   
   
2. For ICE:
   Go to the 'File' menu and select 'Activate Your Purchased License'.
   
   

Activating post trial period.

If you've purchased and app / license after your trial has run out, you'll see the activation screen when you open the app. Simply follow the instructions in step 2 or 3 above.
