How to move a Data 7 embroidery apps to a new PC

A step-by-step guide.

Applies to Data 7 licensed embroidery apps.

1. Firstly, deactivate the current app license on your old PC.

   You can watch this video or follow the steps below:

   N.B. If your old PC is no longer available, please use the Activation Reset Request form.
2. For EDS, Converter and Viewer tools:
   Open the app on your current PC.
   Go to the 'Help' menu and select 'Deactivate Product on this machine'.
   
   
   
   Once complete, you will see a message like this:
   
3. For ICE:
   Open the app on your current PC.
   Go to the 'File' menu and select 'Move App to Another Device (Deactivate)'.
   
   
   
   Once complete, you will see a message like this:
   
   
4. Now, on your new PC, install your apps by following the instructions here: How to install Data 7 embroidery apps.
   
   N.B. Be sure to downloaded the latest app version by heading over to App Downloads.
